Langjährige Geschäftsbeziehung weiter gefestigt:

GeBE ticket printer MULDE Medi Cut on the road in Scheidt & Bachmann vending devices in the USA now.

Germering, January 7th, 2025

The MULDE Medi Cut ticket printers from GeBE Elektronik und Feinwerktechnik GmbH are on the road in the Farebox FareGo FB|30 from Scheidt & Bachmann Fare Collection Systems GmbH now. It’s about printing bus tickets in the USA. Thermal printer solutions from the German-based family business have been working in the vending devices of the globally active business partner from Mönchengladbach for over 20 years. In the latest generation of the FareGO brand devices, FareGo FB|30, the system provider is once again relying on printers from GeBE, thereby consolidating the long-standing business relationship.

Already in luggage: Practical functions for public transport applications

The decisive factor is that the MULDE Medi Cut ticket printers have relevant features for public transport application salready in luggage: They are suitable for industry-typical paper thicknesses of up to 140 μm. Their paper tray holds paper rolls with a convenient diameter of up to 81 mm and a paper width of up to 86 mm. The Paper width can be variably adjusted. All this makes it particularly easy to switch to other ticket qualities or formats. Pre-printed tickets can also be processed without any problems.

A particularly attractive feature for ticket printing in public transport is that these thermal printers can be opened by software command via solenoid (electro magnet) alternatively to the usual mechanical handling. Unwanted access by unauthorised persons can thus be avoided in the best possible way and ticket fraud prevented.
