Brigitte and Gert Breidenbach founded the company out of a desire for freedom and self-determination.

GeBE shows early innovative spirit and develops programs for “programmed instruction” – a forerunner of today's learning technologies.

The first step towards today's core competence: development of specialized voltage converters for driving print needles.

Professionalizing the structures: GeBE Elektronik und Feinwerktechnik GmbH is founded, with Brigitte Breidenbach as managing director.

On a growth course: production is expanded massively and a dedicated development department for small printers and keyboards is set up.

Market launch of the first battery-powered log printer for mobile use. The depth of in-house production grows – GeBE relies on quality from its own manufacturing.

Technological breakthrough in double-sided printing of single sheets: The Loop Presenter and the paper-turning unit are patented.

Expansion of the portfolio with specialized stamp printers for direct labeling of documents.

Focus on input devices: founding of a separate GmbH for custom keyboard solutions, led by Paul Pabst.

The first mini panel-mount printer with Easy Loading technology is launched and establishes a new DIN standard.

Sandra Pabst takes over management. At the same time, the GeBE-FLASH® is launched as the first mobile all-in-one Bluetooth® printer for iOS.

After 40 years, production manager and authorized officer Bruno Paul retires – a sign of how loyal employees are to GeBE.

For its 50th anniversary, GeBE once again demonstrates its expertise: the GeBE-PRINTER Lab® is developed to test thermal papers and hardware professionally. It is used by well-known paper manufacturers.

Long-standing employee and head of the development department Klaus Baldig is granted power of attorney (Prokura).

Launch of GeBE Linerless Technology and expansion: part of production moves to a second site in Germering.

Growth and synergy: moving into the new company building. A major milestone for collaboration and production.

A double anniversary: we are celebrating 60 years of company history and 40 years of GeBE GmbH.

Technical milestone in linerless technology: cutters achieve more than 2 million cuts without blade maintenance.
