That's why GeBE offers two ways to the right OEM thermal printing solution:
Targeted adaptation of proven standard products or a custom new development.
Which solution makes sense depends on the technical requirements, the integration effort and the operating conditions of the application.
Individual adaptation
Faster implementation and optimal costs through targeted adaptation of proven GeBE standard solutions to your application.
Often the fastest and most economical way is to adapt our proven GeBE standard products to your OEM application. Here we leverage existing platforms and supplement exactly what you need in addition.
Customization of firmware, parameters, and interfaces
We provide the command set, character sets, interface parameters, and factory settings in such a way that the device fits your control system without any unnecessary steps.
Mechanical modifications (brackets, housings, mounting variants)
We adapt mounting points, front panels and paper guide to your housing — manufactured in our own precision engineering shop in Germering.
Options and extensions based on existing product families
Cutter, presenter, sensors or a different print mechanism can be added to existing platforms. This saves qualification effort, because the base is already proven in the field.
Ideal when time-to-market and cost optimization are a focus
Because platform, approvals and manufacturing process are already in place, the path from sample to series production is much shorter than with a new development.
New development
Completely new solutions, developed exactly to your requirements – when standard is not enough.
If your application has specific requirements that cannot be adequately covered by any standard product, we develop a completely customized solution – from the electronics to the firmware to the mechanics.
Customized hardware and software development
Circuit board, print mechanism control and firmware are developed in-house. This lets us fine-tune print quality, speed and power consumption together instead of wresting them from a standard device.
Special interfaces, form factors, or environmental conditions
Horizontal installation, dust, temperature range or an interface your controller expects: form factor and connections follow your application, not the other way around.
Integration into existing systems and processes
We align command set, protocol and test steps with what is already running at your end — so that as little as possible changes in your production and service.
Ideal when a completely new product or concept is needed
For applications without precedent, we start with the concept: feasibility, prototypes, testing and series maturity in agreed steps, with fixed points for course corrections.
