With the GeBE-VARIO Plus Linerless, the German provider of thermal printing solutions, GeBE Elektronik und Feinwerktechnik, offers a precisely coordinated printing system. It is specifically tailored to the requirements of linerless, self-adhesive media, because a high-performance printing unit and a suitable cutter alone do not make for a reliable linerless solution.
Especially in automated print-and-apply applications, the interaction between media guidance, printing, cutting, and label transfer determines how stable the process actually runs in industrial use. The controlled media path, coordinated printing and cutting sequences, and the straightforward roll change of the GeBE-VARIO Plus Linerless printing systems support high process reliability and reduce the effort required for operation and maintenance.
This is because potential malfunctions in linerless systems often do not originate in a single component, but rather at the interfaces: between the print unit and the cutter, between the cutter and the applicator, or during the loading and feeding of the material. GeBE therefore considers the entire process – from the roll to the reliable transfer of the cut label.
