GeBE Elektronik und Feinwerktechnik GmbH, solution provider for thermal printing systems from Germering, is now supplying the printers for the latest self-service terminal series from PAARI GmbH, Germany. The software specialists from Erfurt operate in the fields of yard management and weighing technology and equip customer-specific self-service terminals for yard and factory logistics with standardized PAARI installation kits that can be exchanged via plug-and-play. Over the past twenty years, various GeBE printers have already been used in it. The modular kiosk thermal printers from the COMPACT Plus series are currently being used. This is also the case in the new SBT Virtus. In a special customer-specific version, they print various output documents for PAARI – from visitor badges and defined QR codes to customer-specific weighing slips.

The GeBE-COMPACT Plus printers generally process a maximum of 82.5mm wide paper in thicknesses between 70 and 115µm at very high speeds of up to 250mm/s. In the PAARI terminals, the presenter unit with added output unit holds the printout after cutting until it is safely removed. The Exit Sensor signals when it has been removed. The Near Paper End Sensor indicates when the paper supply is coming to an end. This avoids downtime for paper changes. The optionally available mounting bracket for this printer series allows the printer component to be installed quickly and securely and, above all, facilitates rapid servicing. The printer module is held securely in the bracket and can be removed with little effort. There is no need for time-consuming unscrewing, instead it is simply clipped into place.
