GeBE Elektronik und Feinwerktechnik from Germering, Germany, now supplies specially adapted thermal printer modules to ANTONIO MATACHANA S.A.. The MATACHANA GROUP is a specialist in infection control and equips its low-temperature sterilizers of their HPO and LF series with individually manufactured, space-saving printer units from GeBE now.

MATACHANA low temperature sterilizers are monitored by an independent recording of temperature and pressure during operation. The GeBE thermal printers print the recorded values ​​in real time. This way, as an important part of quality management, process data is immediately at hand. It was essential for the customer to integrate the printer unit as flat as possible into the front of the sterilizers’ housing. Because the fewer raised parts break through the flat front, the easier it is to keep it clean. But at the same time, the paper compartment had to remain accessible from the outside so that paper could be changed quickly (see picture). With the appropriate thermal paper and storage conditions, the archived records can be read still after 10 years.
