Mit GeBE Ticketdrucker mehr als nur Raum gewinnen:
GeBE-COMPACT Plus prints ISO Tickets transversely instead of lengthwise
Germering, March 3rd, 2016
GeBE Elektronik und Feinwerktechnik GmbH now presents their ticket printer series GeBE-COMPACT Plus with variable print width. With their extremely compact design these thermal printers are developed for small space in tight enclosures. And – this is something special – thanks to their variable paper width up to 86 mm they print ISO Tickets transversely instead of llengthwise as usual. In any case a profit for OEMs: Because ISO ticket printing in this untypically way means a much smaller roll of paper with the same amount of tickets. So there is more room for other components. Even if the system allows the use of a larger roll of paper, the intervalls for paper exchange services can nevertheless be minimized. On a paper roll with the same extent there are in general about 60 % more transverse than longitudinal tickets. With their modular structure, the GeBE-COMPACT Plus printers show an extremely high flexibility. Because they are delivered without paper roll holder, OEM customers can manage the space of their housing interior much easier. GeBE provides a variable paper roll holder for three different positions. Alternatively customers might design it by themselves.
The company GeBE shows in-house developed and produced special printers for kiosk applications, ticketing and parking machines or access control systems at the Intertraffic 2016 in Amsterdam from April 05 to 08, 2016 at stand 03.226 in hall 3.
Compact design, convenient features
GeBE Elektronik und Feinwerktechnik GmbH produce their ticket printer series GeBE-COMPACT Plus in two widths. The approximately fist-sized built-in printer for paper width of 86 mm is 128 x 90 x 100 mm small, including the presenter unit. Any ticket machine or any system virtually offers sufficient space for such a small printer component. Due to extensive layout commands as well as eight character sizes, receipts and tickets can get an attractive design. Then they are printed with a print speed of 250 mm/s. Blackmarks provide control for an accurate paper position. In most applications, the data exchange runs via the USB interface, RS232 is also available. With a high operating voltage of 10-26 V the GeBE-COMPACT Plus thermal printers are suitable as well for grid as for solar powered operation. The controller is supported by the following drivers: Windows® CE.Net 4.2, 5.0, 6.0 and Windows® 2000, XP, VISTA, 7, 8, 8.1, 10, Unix via Cups for Linux, Mac Os. GeBE realizes adjustment in hardware and software even for small production series.
