Solution provider for thermal printing systems GeBE celebrates anniversary

For 60 years, the name GeBE has stood for pioneering technologies and customer-oriented solutions.

Founded in 1965 as Gert Breidenbach Elektronik and reorganized in 1985 as GeBE Elektronik und Feinwerktechnik GmbH, the company has established itself as a highly specialized supplier of thermal printing systems in the B2B sector. Today, GeBE serves almost every conceivable industry and area in which thermal printing solutions are required – from medical and measurement technology to logistics and retail applications.

With a clear focus on quality, flexibility and innovation, the company offers tailor-made solutions for its OEM customers.from the 1960s to its current position as an expert in thermal printing systems, GeBE is characterized by its innovative strength and adaptability to highly individual requirements.

A focus on linerless technology

GeBE is currently placing a strong focus on linerless applications – a growing market with enormous potential in the field of labeling. With GeBE Linerless Technology, the company is developing innovative printing systems that can handle several hundred thousand label printing jobs and cutting processes virtually adhesion-free and therefore maintenance-free. As part of this technology, GeBE has obtained a patent for the GeBE Linerless Presenter unit, which ensures controlled and reliable output of the print material. “Our linerless technology opens up completely new possibilities for our customers to label more efficiently and sustainably,” explains Klaus Baldig, Head of R&D at GeBE Elektronik und Feinwerktechnik GmbH. “It is just one example of how we as a company have been responding to our customers‘ needs with technological innovations for so many decades.”

Looking into the future

Even after six decades, GeBE is ready to set new standards. With sustainable solutions and continuous development, the company is optimistic about the future.

On the occasion of its 60th anniversary, Managing Director Sandra Pabst is therefore particularly pleased to have just moved into another, larger company building at the preferred location of Germering. “With this suitable property, we have now been able to complete our plans to expand in the truest sense of the word,” she reports. “We would like to thank everyone who has accompanied us on our journey and continues to do so,” emphasizes Pabst and is already looking forward to “many more years full of challenges and success stories”.
