Clever kombiniert: OEM Thermodrucker nach Baukastenprinzip.
GeBE-COMPACT Plus printers now as completely modular system.
Germering, November 22nd, 2021.
The manufacturer of thermal printing systems, GeBE Elektronik und Feinwerktechnik from Germering, Germany, now offers his established high-performance kiosk printer series GeBE-COMPACT Plus as a needs-based, completely modular system – with focus on OEMs’ requirements. Since the specifications for printing systems for their different automated machines are as diverse as the OEM applications themselves, the aim of the manufacturer GeBE was to offer a variety of individual OEM printer solutions through numerous possible combinations of modules, which are economical as well. Now the essential for the overall equipment of each printer of this series is the very individual customer need.
GeBE currently offers two basic printer modules for paper widths up to a maximum of 86 mm, each with and without a presenter. Additionally matching mounting brackets, sensors and paper roll holders are available. A bezel in white or green that is specially designed to protect against external mechanical influences, optionally also with a flashing, completes the series. The GeBE-COMPACT Plus thermal printer system can now be cleverly put together and perfectly integrated into OEM applications of any industry. It can be installed quickly and easily using various assembly aids.

Needs-based solution – module by module
The compact basic modules of the new, modular printer system GeBE-COMPACT Plus have a maximum size of 125 x 93 x 100 mm including the presenter unit. Almost every ticket machine or every kiosk system offers at least this space. All other parts for the printer can be added.
With extensive layout commands, different fonts and character sizes, receipts and tickets can be comfortably and attractively designed. They are printed at a maximum speed of 250 mm/s. The black-mark control ensures an exact paper position for the cut by the robust cutter at the end of the printing process. For convenient installation a mounting bracket is available and the bezel can be helpful for the printer installation as well by being fixed in the housing cutout, because the printer can easily be hung on it with just one movement.
In most applications, data exchange takes place via the USB interface, but RS232 is also possible. The operating voltage of 10 to 26 V allows both grid and solar operation. The controller is supported by the following drivers: Windows® CE.Net 4.2, 5.0, 6.0 and Windows® 2000, XP, VISTA, 7, 8, 8.1, 10, Unix via Cups for Linux, Mac OS.
GeBE implements adaptations in hardware and software even from small quantities.
