GeBE-COMPACT Plus Scan ticket printer prepared for automats in public transport
Germering, February 27, 2024
Thermal printer manufacturer GeBE Elektronik und Feinwerktechnik now expand their modular ticket printer series with the GeBE-COMPACT Plus Scan. This ticket printer was developed for use in ticket machines in public transport and already has an integrated 1D barcode scanner. The tickets with a monetary value are created and the barcode on the back is scanned. This means that everything printed can be tracked down to the last detail. The front-mounted, robust bezel also provides excellent protection against rough mechanical impact from the outside. The modular concept of the printer system allows numerous further additions.
In day-to-day business, the GeBE-COMPACT Plus Scan proves to be a reliable and service-friendly solution for printing tickets on buses, trains and other means of transport. Once attached with the mounting bracket, the ticket printer is held securely in place and can be removed quickly and easily for servicing in just a few simple steps. The paper feed also enables jam-free ticket processing on bumpy journeys.
Thanks to the freely selectable paper format between 63 and 86 mm width, the thermal printer offers a high degree of flexibility in use. It is also so space-saving that there is often even room for a second printer and paper roll inside the machine.
This brings great advantages in everyday operation: Availability is significantly increased, while service costs are considerably reduced.
GeBE will be exhibiting from April 16 to 19, 2024 at Intertraffic, Hall 12, Stand 704 and from May 14 to 16, 2024 at IT-TRANS in Karlsruhe, Hall 1, Stand A20.
