Girls’ Day 2017 bei GeBE in Germering

Girls‘ Day at GeBE in Germering

Germering, 3rd May 2017

On April 27th, five girls‘ hearts beated higher when visiting GeBE Elektronik und Feinwerktechnik GmbH in Germering, Germany for this year’s Girls ‚Day.

„It was really great that we were able to produce something and not only got demonstrations and lectures“, one of the girls mentioned.

There was no boredom when milling or soldering. Girls‘ Day experienced GeBE employees accompanied the girls from Germering, Gilching, and Munich through the varied day.

By early afternoon, the girls had made their own key trailers on the milling machine, used a few more machines and, last but not least, had made the experience that electronics let girls‘ hearts really beat higher:
Would the self-soldered LED heart really start to flash?

„It is always a great pleasure to see how satisfied the girls go home with their self-made „treasures“ in the afternoon. We hope very much that we have not only reached the one or the other girls heart for short term but that they continue to be curious and open-minded for so-called „girl-untypical“ areas,“ GeBE Managing Director Sandra Pabst points out.

This year GeBE took part on the Girls‘ Day already for the 16th time.
