Thermal Printer GeBE-MULDE Mini for Medical Measuring Instruments

Germering, October 11, 2018.

GeBE Elektronik und Feinwerktechnik GmbH in Germering, Germany, now presents their thermal printer GeBE-MULDE Mini for OEM of medical measuring instruments. The basic for successful therapy is the highest possible measurement accuracy and the exact analysis of the patient samples. The printer integrated in the OEM device then provides thorough documentation of the results. The measuring data are immediately available on 58 mm wide paper, are easy to read and, if desired, even available in all world languages. The smallest printer in the GeBE range with approx. 77 x 77 x 39 mm is perfectly sized for stationary and mobile measuring devices. GeBE realises changes in equipment and firmware as well as OEM adapted control foils or case colors from smaller series on.

For Pfaff Medical GmbH in Neuburg, Germany, the mini printer was chosen to match their device color and provided with a control foil according to customer requirements. It documents the measurement results of the Bilimeter 3D (www.bilimeter.de, see picture), which is used to measure bilirubin in newborns within seconds.

In addition to the small size, the high level of reliability as well as the particularly easy handling of the miniature printer from GeBE prove to be basic application criteria. Since the recent update of the small printer series, one more advantage can be pointed out: Any UTF fonts in the required languages matching the worldwide location of the OEM device can be uploaded by the customers themselves without the help from the printers manufacturer. For connection, USB, RS232, Bluetooth or IR interfaces are available. Drivers are available for Windows® CE, 2000, XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10, Linux and Mac OS X. In addition the printer manufacturer offers eco-friendly, certified thermal papers, as well as phenol or bisphenol free thermal papers that are often demanded in medical environments.
