Germering, January 21st, 2020.

GeBE Elektronik und Feinwerktechnik from Germering, Germany, now supplies ticket printers of their GeBE-COMPACT Plus series for the new ticket machines of pramux. This company from Lower Saxony, Germany, stands for individualized ticket and cash machines, parking machines and barriers as well as for suitable software solutions. For a new project pramux recently decided for a standard version of this field-proven GeBE printers.

The pramux ticket machines are placed near the North Sea coast. Even in such harsh conditions with high air humidity the GeBE printer for temperatures between -20°C to +70°C works stable, so that a great operational reliability is achieved. In addition, thanks to a powerful C32 controller, it has a very extensive reporting system and all relevant status reports are displayed in a timely and detailed manner. Due to this for instance the paper changes can be planned in such a way that unprinted residual paper does neither have to be thrown away, nor does the machine have an unintended downtime due to a lack of paper. The printing process is controlled via so called Blackmarks, what means that a most precise processing and cutting is guaranteed. The powerful GeBE-COMPACT Plus with cutter does its jobs with papers of a maximal thicknesses of 190 µm. In this project leporello-folded ticket blanks of around 170 µm are in use.

Realized quickly – individually equipped

“GeBE was recommended to us as an expert for OEM thermal printers in August last year. We were quickly satisfied with the GeBE-COMPACT Plus ticket printer because it already has so many industry-relevant features in its standard configuration that we were able to use it without any adjustments. Now, at the beginning of 2020, the first of the new pramux ticket machines are already in operation on a parking area at the North Sea coast”, Sascha Gliese, project manager at pramux reports.

For this project pramux has installed an own-designed ticket issue unit with lighting instead of the optional one from GeBE. The paper delivery slot indicates that the parking ticket can be removed by flashing in different colors. All automated machines of the company from northern Germany are designed for individualization according to customer requirements and if required GeBE is available to them as a specialist for customer-specific thermal printing solutions.

GeBE Elektronik und Feinwerktechnik GmbH from Germering, Germany, has been in business for over 50 years and has been acting as a recognized partner of the industry for data input and output solutions for 35 years.
