GeBE Cutter cuts with highest accuracy in the on-board computer with ticket printer from INIT
Germering, January 24, 2019.
A paper cutter of GeBE Elektronik and Feinwerktechnik GmbH in Germering now cuts tickets in the EVENDpc2 from INIT GmbH (picture), based in Karlsruhe, Germany. This company for telematics solutions in public transport operates worldwide and equips buses with their driverand passenger-friendly combination of ticket printer and PC-based on-board computer. Such OEM systems often require individual GeBE components such as controller, printing unit and paper cutter as alternatives to the complete thermal printers from GeBE. In the EVENDpc2 from INIT, the GeBE cutter processes tickets reliably and with millimeter accuracy with full cuts or half cuts. The guaranteed service life span of this cutter for 86 mm wide and up to 120μm thick paper is exceptionally high: up to 1.5 million cuts. By counting on this component every passenger gets his ticket absolutely reliable.
Recently GeBE extended their product range with cutters for different materials. Since then also OEM customers for printer controlled paper cutters – a frequently underestimated component of the overall OEM system – can benefit from the extensive know how of the thermal printing expert GeBE. This brings valuable benefits, especially for customizations and developments.
