Kompromisslose Platzsparlösung: GeBE-COMPACT Plus Ticketdrucker.
Now in Hectronic Citea parking ticket machines
Germering, April 29th, 2025.
The GeBE-COMPACT Plus modular thermal printer from solution provider for thermal printer systems, GeBE Elektronik und Feinwerktechnik GmbH, Germany, is now being used in Hectronic GmbH projects. The internationally operating family business specializes in intelligent parking space management, amongst other things, and is now equipping the Citea parking ticket machines with the basic module of this GeBE printer series, which is only about the size of a fist. The modular design of this printer series makes it possible to design in exactly what is needed at any given time.
The basic module already has all the relevant functions for 250mm/s fast and reliable ticket printing. If required, metal mounting brackets, fixed or variable paper roll holders and paper feeders can be added. Different cable lengths, e.g. for connecting the LED-illuminated near paper end (NPE) or the paper exit sensor, allow a perfectly coordinated connection to the overall system. Besides, GeBE can implement further additions and individual adaptations, such as the weatherproof lacquering of the controller for Hectronic use, according to customer requirements.
“As an uncompromising space-saving solution inside the machine, this printer offers maximum flexibility in terms of individual equipment as well as particularly easy maintenance, for example when changing paper. This is why Hectronic deliberately chose GeBE thermal printers – a product that stands for quality and reliability. We rely exclusively on high-quality components in order to meet the highest demands,” says Jochen Kessler (Product Manager at Hectronic).
The printer modules of the GeBE-COMPACT Plus series are available for paper widths from 54 to 86mm, are addressed either via the RS232 or USB interface and are operated in the voltage ranges from 10.8 to 26.5V. Unicode character sets with up to 38374 characters can be implemented on request. This is an important argument for the international OEM business, as all world languages can be printed and completely new, diverse design options for the printouts open up.
GeBE will be presenting the range of thermal printers for the parking industry at the PARKEN trade fair in Wiesbaden on June 25 and 26, 2025 in hall Nord, booth B02.
