GeBE thermal printer now documents processing of Mop & Co. for Schneidereit Professional

The small thermal printer GeBE-MULDE Mini of the manufacturer GeBE Elektronik und Feinwerktechnik from Germering, Germany, now assists Schneidereit Professional to ensure maximum process reliability when cleaning, disinfecting and processing cleaning-textiles in industrial cleaning. The mini printers are important components of the new product line ProTec® of the specialists for commercial washing and drying technology from Solingen, Germany, and once more underlines their innovation leadership.

In accordance with the strict hygiene regulations of the industry the so-called SMAS® printer prints all process-relevant parameters on self adhesive labels. The printout shows, amongst others, which cleaning agent or surface disinfectant was added to the cleaning textiles during the washing process. It is also recorded when the entire procedure was completed. Afterwards the mops are ready for use and stored in hermetically sealed boxes. Thus they are subject to a maximum shelf life, which date is also printed on the label. Based on the printout, it can be proven that the machine content has been treated in accordance with the regulations.

Important in practice: shelf life immediately in view

In daily practice, compliance with the hygiene regulations is just as important as achieving more efficiency in working. Thanks to the information on the label printed by the GeBE printer, on the one hand a long storage time and the occurrence of unwanted germs in the storage box is prevented. On the other hand it is a considerable advantage for the workflow of the cleaning staff, to see at the first glance on the label whether the cleansing utensils can still be used. If the maximum shelf life has been exceeded already, the textiles are returned to the cleaning and disinfection process again.

Adjustments according to the customer’s CI, such as labeling or individual housing colors of the printer, are implemented by GeBE from small quantities on.
