GeBE Elektronik und Feinwerktechnik GmbH showcases the service-friendly GeBE MULDE Maxi thermal printer in DIN format for precise installation in the control panel. Now, like the entire GeBE series MULDE, it is one of the printers recommended by Siemens for SIMATIC HMI panels. As a special version of the proven GeBE MULDE Maxi, it is housed in a 144 x 192mm enclosure. In industrial practice, this means that even though it is only installed as a component at a later date, it fits perfectly into the specified cutout, e.g., that of a control cabinet.
With 832 pixels horizontally, this thermal printer is particularly suitable for documentation in industrial applications, as it allows for VGA screenshots in the longitudinal direction and XVGA screenshots in the transverse format from control displays. It prints 80µm thick thermal paper, and it stores paper rolls with a diameter of up to 60mm. This ensures that approximately 29 meters of printed material can be produced at a time. Replacing the paper is less frequent and is also hand-friendly. Simply insert the paper, close the lid, and continue printing.
A4 pages fit on 114mm paper
The special software of the DIN-mounted printer MULDE Maxi allows it to compress A4 pages when controlled via an HP LaserJet printer driver. When printed on paper with a high print resolution of 203dpi, graphics can still be clearly seen. Although such graphics usually slow down the printing speed when transferring data serially, because the data can be sent to the printer in compressed form at up to 115kBaud, the printer maintains its speed reliably. A protective transparent door is available as an option. With it, the component achieves the IP54 protection rating. GeBE adapts its products in soft and hardware to the customer's requirements already from smaller series.
