GeBE-CHIPSET operation and control right from the OEM System

Germering, December 7th, 2015. GeBE Elektronik und Feinwerktechnik GmbH shows their new product, GeBE-CHIPSET, at two fairs in February 2016. The GeBE-CHIPSET offers integration of print functionality without having to use a complete thermal printer. Thermal printing involves more than just controlling the printer. Thermal printers are susceptible to environmental conditions, so permanent monitoring of the printing process is imperative in order to achieve consistent print quality. In cases were print mechanisms are designed to be controlled by the overall system, the GeBE-CHIPSET offers a safe alternative for OEM customers. High cost of development are shifted away from the customer. The micro processor includes the manufacturers proven firmware. The GeBE typical reporting system permanently controls the print status. Even precise paper positioning is taken care of. The small chip mounts to a customer circuit board and is ready to offer control. In practical terms: small footprint, economical component cost, free choice of print mechanism and, thanks to GeBE-CHIPSET, more than just creating print outs. The GeBE-CHIPSET can be used to control print mechanisms of various manufacturers.

Consistent Results – free choice of print mechanism
The GeBE-CHIPSET, from the thermal printer specialist GeBE in Germering (Germany), offers more than just a control unit. For instance, it keeps the power supply dynamic and balanced during the printing process and regulates temperature differences, which stabilizes the printing process. This means permanently great results on paper. Precise paper positioning occurs for label and ticket printing, be it via punch-marks, or black-mark control. Moreover, GeBE will help the GeBE-CHIPSET customer with optimization of control and print mechanism, as well as with circuit board design. The customer merely activates desired functions via software. Customers can update firmware or fonts by themselves at anytime. The GeBE-CHIPSET is available for APS and Fujitsu print mechanisms. Chip controls for other manufacturers can be carried out upon request.
