GeBE Elektronik und Feinwerktechnik, Germany, now present their new Heavy Duty Linerless thermal printer GPT-18740 for logistics applications. What is special about it is that all areas of the printer that inevitably become soiled over time are kept freely accessible. This means that even the often hard-to-reach cutting blades of the Linerless cutter can be thoroughly cleaned unusually quickly. For the printing unit and the platen, it’s just a matter of loosening a screw – one click and they can be replaced.
With the specifications of „easy operation and adjustment of the paper“ and „outstanding ease of service“ for all development work, a robust printer was build for long-term Linerless labeling without interruptions. In addition, the special design of the device brings great advantages with regard to incidental maintenance work. Comparatively extended maintenance intervals combined with greatly reduced maintenance times help to save time and money.
The manufacturer equips the special printer for continuous operation with a very large, robust motor and offers it as a so-called side loader. The version for 4″ paper width prints about 60 labels per minute. Thus it represents a new, particularly profitable thermal printer solution for typical heavy-duty continuous Linerless printing operations in the logistics industry.

The new GPT-18740 Linerless special printer from GeBE Elektronik und Feinwerktechnik handles print jobs with lasting stability and is comparatively very inexpensive. The delivery is planned without paper roll holder and further extras.
This means that individual additions can be made as required. Thanks to a laterally aligned design, the device can also be scaled excellently. The printable paper width is currently 4 inch (78 to 115 mm, adjustable). Printers for other paper widths can be realized on request.
