Optimizing print results with Testbench from GeBE

GeBE Elektronik und Feinwerktechnik from Germering, Germany, is now presenting the so called Testbench out of their latest GeBE-COMPACT Plus thermal printer series for paper widths between 51 and 86 mm. This special printer is designed for long-term tests, in which thermal papers are tested to ultimately optimize the paper properties. It is about achieving the best possible print image, the perfect pressure on the platen or the reduction of dust during cutting.

Developed for thermal paper manufacturer

For this purpose, a mechanically and electronically identical version of the established GeBE-COMPACT Plus printer was set up as a test printer. This development specially allows the access to the relevant areas such as the print head, the platen, the entire paper path and also the paper cutter. Thus, during the test period, the behavior of the thermal papers can be well observed at all stages of the printing process. Therefore the GeBE-COMPACT Plus Testbench is particularly recommended for manufacturers of thermal papers.

Testbench also for Linerless papers

GeBE already offers a Testbench of the GeBE-COMPACT Plus Linerless printer for testing and optimizing linerless papers, i.e. self-adhesive papers without carrier material. Due to the high demand for this device, also the new test printer for non-adhesive thermal papers has now been developed.
