Patented Linerless presenter by GeBE protects and helps in cost saving.

GeBE Elektronik und Feinwerktechnik from Germering, Germany, now present their recently patented Linerless Presenter for GeBE Linerless Thermal Printers. Thus the company once again focusses on sustainability in labelling, which is dictated more and more by the market in order to save carrier material waste.

The GeBE Linerless Technology including Linerless Printers and Linerless Cutters has already established for printing self-adhesive labels without a carrier material (liner). Now the Linerless Presenter joins this line of developments as an effective unit for dispensing Linerless Labels, which also helps to save costs. There is significantly less money to spend on services when really all mechanical parts of the printer unit – including presenter – are less sticky for much longer.

In their economical overall concept of the Linerless Technology by GeBE, the German company consistently builds on special materials to get the mechanical parts of the whole printer units adhesive resistant. This way sticking can be prevented for a considerably long time and an above-average long term trouble-free and cleaning-free printing, cutting and removal of printed Linerless Papers is promoted.

Secret lies in „self-cleaning“

Compared to printing labels on backing paper, the unavoidable adhesive residues of the linerless self-adhesive labels on their way through the printer – right up to the output of the printed matter – are the challenge.

In addition to the printer mechanism and the paper cutter, GeBE Elektronik und Feinwerktechnik has now also equipped the presenter unit in such a way that the labels can be transported through the convenient output unit almost without leaving any residue, despite their exposed adhesive layer on the underside. The secret lies in the special material composition and design of the (transport) rollers. They ensure a kind of „self-cleaning“ during the printing and output process. GeBE recently obtained the patent for this sophisticated solution. The manufacturer from Bavaria now supplements his GeBE Linerless Technology with the protected Linerless Presenters and offers them as an option for use together with Linerless Printers and Linerless Cutters by GeBE.
